Join the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota for Served with Purpose, a series of new summer community dinners centered on connection, community, and opportunity. This special event brings people together over a shared mealāserved by individuals with Down syndrome who are ready, willing, and able to work, contribute, and succeed.

At DSAMn, we believe meaningful employment is a critical part of belonging. Yet too often, individuals with Down syndrome are overlooked in the workforce. This dinner is designed to challenge those assumptionsācreating a space where guests experience firsthand the skills, professionalism, and dedication individuals with Down syndrome bring to their work.
Through this event, individuals with Down syndrome are engaged in paid, real-world work experiencesābuilding skills, gaining confidence, and demonstrating whatās possible when opportunity meets ability. Our Community Dinners foster connection while opening doorsābringing together families, supporters, and community members in a setting that highlights talent, reinforces dignity, and expands expectations.
This is more than a mealāitās an invitation. An invitation to rethink what employment can look like, to invest in inclusive workforce pathways, and to open doors within your own organizations. When individuals with Down syndrome are given the opportunity to workāand are compensated for their contributionsāthey thrive, businesses benefit, and our communities are stronger for it.
