Core Responsibilities: Luke will be building upon the long foundation the Down Syndrome Association of Minnesota has with specific attention to Adults with Down syndrome.
Previous Experience: Luke holds a Master's of Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Personal Fun: Luke is a huge Star Trek fan. His wife and he were at a Star Trek convention when they got the call that they had been chosen to adopt Dax.
More info: Luke comes to DSAMN with a background in social work and is passionate about empowering adults with Down syndrome and their families throughout the transitions of adulthood. Prior to working for DSAMN Luke served as a manager for Missouri's Vocational Rehabilitation program. He lives in Rosemount with his wife, Holly, and son, Dax, who has Down syndrome.
