2022 Fall Programming
IMPROVANEERS (OFFERED VIRTUALLY & IN PERSON!)
Improvaneers is offered both online and in person. The program helps build and develop cognitive skills that increase social and workplace opportunities. Classes meet once weekly. Improv has been proven to build Quicker-Thinking, Problem Solving, Self-Confidence Eye Contact, Teamwork, Listening Voice Projection, and Focus.
IN PERSON, St. Paul, 10-week Session, Cost = $100 per session
In person Improvaneers classes are for teens and adults with Down syndrome ages 16+. Classes are 90 minutes and meet once per week. Cost is $100 for the 10 week session. Most classes held at DSAMn office in St. Paul unless notified elsewhere. There will not be classes the week of Thanksgiving.

Virtual, Online, 5-week Session, Cost = $25 per session
Online Improvaneers classes are for people with Down syndrome ages 10+. Classes are 50-60 minutes and meet once per week. Cost is $25 for the 5 week session. We will offer two 5 week sessions this fall. Register for one or both sessions.

DOWN TO BOX (IN PERSON)
Down to Box provides customized curriculum to individuals with Down syndrome in order to help develop their fine and gross motor skills to advance their physical and mental health. Down to Box teaches participants techniques which increase their confidence levels while increasing their athletic ability. Our weekly boxing programs also serve as a social group for participants, to engage with their peers and develop friendships. Join Coach Polly and Coach Dalton every week for an awesome workout. Classes take place at Element Gym in St. Paul. Costs is $110 for 8 week class.

PHYSICAL COMEDY (VIRTUAL)
The class runs 8 weeks and participants meet online, once a week for 60 minutes. At the end of the 8 week session the students will perform a short program virtually for family and friends. Cost is $15.00 per class per participant.

COOKING (IN PERSON)
This class is for individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities, ages 9th grade through adult. The class runs 6 weeks and takes place at Richfield High School participants meet once a week for 2 hours Class includes take home recipes to recreate in your own kitchen. Cost is $75.00 per participant includes all food/materials. Bring a snack/water to enjoy during the break. Please share dietary accommodations that are needed, prior to class. *note: not all recipes made will be a full meal.

PERFORMING ARTS GROUP (IN PERSON)
If you haven't participated in DSAMn's Saturday performing arts classes...you're in for a treat! Join Lizz and other performing artists each Saturday for 2 hours. This session will focus on movement and musical theater and is guided by participants and is a 7 week course. Classes take place at HUGE Theater unless noted elsewhere. Cost is $45.00 per participant. There is no class the week of Thanksgiving.

Program & Camp Scholarships and Financial Support
Cost should not be a barrier to participation in any DSAMN program. All our programs are offered on a sliding fee scale based on Federal Poverty Level Guidelines. Families living at or below 200% if FPL are eligible for the sliding scale.
